 What really blows me away is that they haven't deleted the account for inactivity. It's a free account for goodness sake!

An oversight which I may want to correct out of simple gratitude.

But for folks fleeing the Twitter frenzy, I'm here and check in at least once a year almost ok not really but I'll check in more often as I see more familiar names.

Okay, really I'm just trying out image management. But a ruana style sweater I'm working on for a friend.

A friend on Facebook - who I first met on LJ - mentioned Dreamwidth today, which reminded me that I have an account here.

I have no idea how much I can contribute to this site. Its main appeal to me is privacy and no plausible names policy. People knowing who I am is okay, but my Mrs. Geek does not like being on a first name basis with the Internet.

Skud made Dreamwidth sound pretty darn good. Good enough that I'd like to check it out.

Oh, and I do create some stuff. Mostly code, but occasionally I doodle or finish a knitting project.
